Trainer Recordings

DaDesktop offers a variety of methods for capturing desktop activity and course sessions. These include Troubleshooting recordings, Training Room recordings, and Trainer recordings.

Trainer recordings specifically capture the Trainer's DaDesktop machine. Trainers can initiate a recording session of the Trainer machine by following these steps.

 

1. Click the three vertical dots to open a small dropdown menu, then select 'Connect (with session recording)'.

2. 

   An AV recording of the Trainer machine begins, but it cannot be viewed until after the virtual classroom is closed and the recording is finalized. Note: SuperAdmin users have an extra option to monitor live recordings as they occur.

3. To view and manage recordings, click the cog icon and go to the Recordings menu.

 

Recordings

 

There are two ways to access your Trainer recordings.

1. Open recordings from the Recordings menu as described. From there you can play or delete them as needed. The double spanner icon indicates 'Troubleshooting Recordings', which are recorded automatically for diagnostic purposes, not for presentation.

  2. Using the 'Recordings' tab of a course, you can view Trainer recordings, Training Room recordings, and Troubleshooting recordings.
