Creating Organisations
Normally, an organisation is created automatically with the same name as your username during registration.
However, there are times when establishing a new Organisation makes sense, such as under a company name, especially if multiple users from the same firm are using DaDesktop.
Note that creating an Organisation is exclusively a Super Admin function.

Creating Organisations in DaDesktop
There are two methods for producing an Organisation: the default approach involves simultaneously creating the owner account, while the alternative does not require a separate owner user account, for instance when one already exists.
Creating an Organisation and Its Owner Account Simultaneously
- The account owner’s email address, password, and first and last names are mandatory. You can also assign roles as needed. The currency is set based on the portal: dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn uses CNY.
- You must also provide the Organisation name along with a code. Keep the code concise, as it cannot be modified after creation.
- The preferences for Allowing course recordings and publishing them apply to ALL recordings in the Organisation. Similarly, the Receiving Promotional Emails option affects the whole organisation.
- 'Allow Recordings' controls the availability of Recordings throughout the entire organisation.
- If necessary, Private servers can be chosen. Note that a server must first be designated as 'Private' to appear as an option here.
