Cannot type specific characters like apostrophes, quotation marks, or backticks inside a DaDesktop machine

This frustrating glitch turns up only occasionally, but its appearance hinges on your physical keyboard type, language settings, and the internationalisation setup you're using.

This problem occurs solely on Windows

You can resolve it by carrying out the steps below :-

  1. Open the Windows search bar and enter 'Settings'
  2. Select 'Time & Language'
  3. Choose the language option from the left-hand menu
  4. Under 'Preferred Languages', pick your preferred language, and then click 'Options'.
  5. Go to 'Add a keyboard', and pick the layout that matches your physical keyboard, for instance US layout
  6. Remove the outdated keyboard layouts by clicking on each one and choosing 'Remove'
  7. Verify by typing a single quote, ' ' ', a double quotation mark, ' " ' and a backtick `.
